How to present a paper?
Most of the participants at the Congress will present a paper in a section or working group. Here are some words of advice concerning the presentation.

To observe for paper presenters
In most seminars rooms there will be a laptop (PC) and facilities for Power Point presentations. IT IS ENOUGH TO BRING A USB MEMORY STICK. If you bring your own Mac laptop to the Congress, please observe that you have to bring a VGA adapter as well – to be able to connect your laptop to the projectors in the seminar rooms.

The Congress fees for the IAMCR congress have been revised, and will be lower than announced before for all groups of participants except non-members. Participants who already have registered and paid higher fees will get the difference refunded from the Congress administration during June.
The deadline for early registration has also been extended to June 15. After this all registration fee categories increase by 50 Euro. The last date for registration is June 20. However please note that after May 31 pre-booked hotel rooms will not be available.
Non-members who choose to pay an additional 10 Euro can get a trial membership in the IAMCR, valid until the end of 2008. Trial members pay the same Congress fees as ordinary members. However, this membership does not include journal subscriptions, neither it confers voting rights.

Family members and others accompanying registered participant have the possibility to pay special tickets to some of the evening events. This must be done as part of the registration. Information about costs are found under the headline Social Programme. Participants who have already registered may add accompanying persons to their registration.
