How to present a paper?
Most of the participants at the Congress will present a paper in a section or working group. Here are some words of advice concerning the presentation.

To observe for paper presenters
In most seminars rooms there will be a laptop (PC) and facilities for Power Point presentations. IT IS ENOUGH TO BRING A USB MEMORY STICK. If you bring your own Mac laptop to the Congress, please observe that you have to bring a VGA adapter as well – to be able to connect your laptop to the projectors in the seminar rooms.

Ester Pollack, senior lecturer in Journalism, Stockholm University. Head of department at JMK 2002-2005. Research focus on media and crime and on projects concerning the Swedish media and the World War II-era.
Anja Hirdman is senior lecturer in Media studies at Stockholm University. Her research concerns questions of mediatized intimacy, intersectionality and visual culture. Recent projects include visual self-representation on the Internet, embodiment and popular culture, as well as television and emotionality.
Madeleine Kleberg, reader in Media & Communication. One of the founders of the Gender and Communication Section within IAMCR and its first head. Currently working with research on The Intimization of Journalism. Transformations of Medialized Public Spheres from the 1880s to current times.
Sigurd Allern, professor and head of the master program in journalism at the University of Oslo, Norway. Professor (II) at Volda University College, Norway. Bonnier guest professor in 2008 at Stockholm University. Research focus on news values, professional news sources and political communication.
