Unfortunately, we have no resources to welcome you at the Arlanda Airport.

- Airport coach all the way to the City Terminal. It takes about 35 minutes, and the price is SEK 99.
- Train service Arlanda Express to the Central Station.Takes about 20 minutes, price is SEK 220. Now, during the summer, there is a special offer – ‘travel two and pay for one’.
- Taxi is the easiest but most expensive way. If you want to go directly to the congress venue, tell the address: Frescativägen 6, Aula Magna, Stockholm University. Price: SEK 500.

How to go from Skavsta Airport to the City center?
- Airport coach to the Central Station. Takes about 80 minutes, price is SEK 150.

How to go from the Central Station and the City Terminal to Stockholm University?
Next to the Central Station there is a subway station ‘T-Centralen’ (a big T is the subway symbol in Stockholm). All three lines (red, green, blue) cross each other here. Enter a train towards ‘Mörby Centrum’ (red line). After about 10 minutes you get off at ‘Universitetet’. More info at the Internet - Stockholm Transport.

If you have pre-booked a transportation pass (3 or 7 days) just purchase a single-trip ticket to the University. The pass will be available at the arrival registration at Aula Magna. Single tickets may be bought at the gate and transportation passes may be bought at ”Pressbyrån”, always close to the subway. SEK 200 for a 3 days pass, and SEK 260 for a 7 days.

2. Arrival registration, Sunday – Monday Arrival registration will start on Sunday July 20, at 15:00 until 21.00, and on Monday July 21, at 8:30 until 17.00. The reception desk will be staffed all through the congress week, for questions and problem solving, and for late arrival registra¬¬tion as well. - The name badge will be your ID during the congress. Put it on all the time, please!

3. Technical advice In most seminars rooms there will be a laptop (PC) and facilities for Power Point (PPT) presentations. SO, IT IS ENOUGH TO BRING A USB MEMORY STICK. If you bring your own Mac laptop to the Congress, please observe that you must bring a VGA adapter as well – to be able to connect your laptop to the projectors in the seminar rooms.
All Swedish electricity has the European standard. So, if you come from countries with another standard (like the United States or the United Kingdom), you have to bring an electric adapter for the socket to be able to use your laptop or your shaving machine.

4. Programme changes to be announced at the entrance of Aula Magna Information on programme changes will be announced separately at the entrance of the Congress site, Aula Magna, on a day-by-day-basis, each morning during the Congress week.

5. How to present a paper at the Congress? The first rule is: make it short! Don’t plan for more than ten minutes; maybe you get only five. Concentrate on a few main points, on your theory, methods and results. Don’t overload your Power Point slides, and don’t talk too fast. Give some time for questions and discussion.
